Software Packaging Engineer

• Strong technical background with 2+years of experience in software packaging, supported by relevant education and/or practical experience is required
• We are seeking a proactive and innovative team player who thrives on solving complex problems and has a passion for software packaging
• Having proficiency in Microsoft operating systems is essential, while a familiarity with popular software distribution systems like SCCM, Intune, Altiris, and ZenWorks is beneficial
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills (independent of software packaging) is a must
• Expertise in App-V/MSIX packaging, MSI automation & repackaging, and setup automation using batch or PowerShell
• Excellent communication and customer-facing abilities
• A strong sense of responsibility and reliability
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required

• Automation of MSIX packaging and testing workflows
• Automation and customization of WiX Toolset build processes
• VBScript development and maintenance for legacy automation tasks
• Task Sequence administration and deployment workflow management (e.g., SCCM/MDT environments)
• Understanding of QA processes related to software packaging and deployment

• Developing efficient software installation routines/packages
• Analyze and troubleshooting application installation issues in enterprise environments
• Utilizing cutting-edge tools like PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit (PSADT), Windows Installer, Admin Studio, Wise Package Studio, you’ll ensure seamless software deployment
• Additionally, you’ll have the chance to work with Microsoft App-V, PowerShell, and MSIX
• Focus on efficiency and process improvement
