Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and self-directed Senior Front-End Developer to join our customer’s marketing team. You will play a pivotal role in executing a full-scale website redesign and supporting a strategic content pivot. This role demands a marketing-first mindset, hands-on technical excellence, and strong collaboration skills with non-technical stakeholders. You’ll work directly with the marketing leadership and coordinate with the EPD team to develop responsive, high-performance, and SEO-optimized web experiences. Your focus will include CMS integration, UI development, analytics support, and technical implementation of business needs.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in front-end development with modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Advanced proficiency in React and TypeScript (AstroJS is a plus).
  • Hands-on experience with headless CMS, preferably Strapi, including custom component creation.
  • Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with marketing teams and translate business needs into code.
  • Familiarity with Git and modern collaborative workflows.
  • Experience with Core Web Vitals optimization and Lighthouse/PageSpeed metrics (standard >90%).
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics and attribution tracking.
  • Experience using preview environments and QA pipelines before production deployment.
  • Self-directed and reliable in meeting deadlines within dynamic environments.
  • Experience working within marketing teams on website and branding initiatives.
  • Solid understanding of technical SEO and its impact on content strategy.
  • Proven background in contractor or agency roles with successful web project delivery.
  • Familiarity with content admin tools and CMS training workflows for non-technical users.
  • Comfortable working in agile and fast-changing environments.

Duties:

  • Develop and iterate new website features in close collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Maintain and evolve the existing headless CMS setup and website content architecture.
  • Create and manage reusable Strapi components for dynamic marketing needs.
  • Support CMS content workflows and assist team members with publishing best practices.
  • Implement technical SEO improvements and continuously improve site performance.
  • Ensure cross-device compatibility and flawless UX/UI using responsive design techniques.
  • Assist with analytics integrations and tracking systems setup.
  • Actively contribute to QA testing and deployment checks in preview environments.
