We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Senior IT Systems Engineer to join a dynamic and innovative team. In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of IT infrastructure, identity and access management systems, and enterprise application integration. You will also drive automation initiatives, manage collaboration tools, and ensure secure, efficient, and scalable internal systems. This position is ideal for a hands-on systems expert with a strategic mindset and a passion for operational excellence. You will play a key role in improving employee experience, supporting high-growth environments, and enabling secure, automated workflows across diverse platforms.

Requirements
  • 3+ years in enterprise IT systems engineering, system administration, or similar role.
  • Proven hands-on experience with Okta, including Okta Workflows.
  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, and scripting for automation.
  • Solid understanding of IAM protocols (SAML, OAuth, SCIM).
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools: Google Workspace, Jira, Slack, GitHub.
  • Experience in cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and virtualization (VMware, KVM).
  • Strong understanding of Windows, Mac, and Linux environments.
  • Experience with configuration management tools and MDM platforms.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Certifications in Okta, JAMF, AWS, GCP, or ITIL.
  • Experience working in compliance-driven environments (e.g., SOC2, ISO 27001).
  • Familiarity with SaaS identity integration and security frameworks.

Duties:

  • Manage and optimize enterprise collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian Suite, Okta, and GitHub.
  • Identify and address technical gaps affecting internal user experience.
  • Collaborate with leadership to define success metrics and drive improvements in productivity and engagement.
  • Develop and implement secure, scalable solutions that meet governance standards.
  • Work cross-functionally to enhance workforce satisfaction through smart IT initiatives.
  • Design and maintain secure IAM solutions using Okta (SSO, SAML, OAuth, SCIM).
  • Build Okta Workflows to automate identity lifecycle processes.
  • Partner with Security, GRC, and People teams to strengthen internal security posture.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for IAM, automation, and endpoint issues.
  • Oversee the administration of enterprise and SaaS applications to ensure uptime and performance.
  • Build and manage integrations between internal systems using Python, Bash, and vendor APIs.
  • Automate core IT workflows, including employee onboarding/offboarding.
  • Contribute to documentation and training materials for both users and IT staff.
  • Define metrics for operational success and continuously optimize internal systems.
